Become a Friend (Cairde)

The Irish Cultural Center invites interested people to join our organization and become a "cara" (friend). This organization and its membership (Cairde) are devoted to "keeping the Irish arts alive". We work to preserve, share, and promote the heritage of the Irish people, so that future generations of Irish and Irish Americans will have the opportunity to appreciate their rich legacy. The advantages of membership in the Cairde are abundant. We offer opportunities to meet new people and to form friendships with other members who have similar interests. Some programs offer entertainment while others offer learning experiences, including the study of the Irish Language.

Many of our events are offered without charge; however, we freely accept donations. Some special events and programs, due to their nature, warrant a ticket purchase or reservation. We sometimes offer a reduced price to members. We depend upon members' dues or gifts of patrons and sponsors who donate for specific events in order to offer programs. Since we are a non-profit organization all gifts are tax deductible.
