In cooperation with Elms College, the Irish Cultural Center will offer two non-credit Irish language courses in the spring semester of 2010.
Introductory Irish 1 familiarizes students with the basic structure of the language, introduces common expressions and encourages students to carry on simple conversations in Irish. No prior knowledge of Irish is necessary.

January 25 - May 3, 2010
Introductory Irish 2 is for those who have had at least one semester in the language or the equivalent and continues the study of the basic structure of the language, introduces common expressions and encourages students to carry on simple conversations in Irish.
Tuesdays, 6:30– 8:30 p.m.
January 26 - May 4, 2010
Both courses will meet once a week for two class hours (100 minutes) during the semester. There are no grades or examinations in these courses, but students will have an opportunity to work on assignments which will be reviewed in class.
